Title: My Results
As promised in my previous post, i'm going to list out my grades here and see how accurate I am for the prediction of my results..
AB103 - Statistical and Quantitative Methods
My wish - B
Actual - B-
AB105 - Organizational Behavior and Design
My wish - B+
Actual - B+
AB106 - Principles of Economics
My wish - B-
Actual - B-
AB112 - Marketing
My wish - A
Actual - A
As you can see, 75% of my predictions were accurate.. *haha* I'm good!! Anyway i was kind of disappointed with my stats result really expecting it to be B at least considering my strong results in CAs and all the presentations.. In any case, this is not good as i'v set high standards for myself.. Its encouraging to see that after you put in hard work plus excellent project mates, you can do well.. My first ever exams after a 2 years break and its ok.. I'm satisfied because i've predicted it..
Next semester shall be better with more As to pull up my GPA score.. I just remembered that i've forgetten to list down the grade for my Introduction to HRM.. It was a killer elective and i do not know how i was being persuaded into taking it.. Due to the difficulties, i decided to opt for a satisfactory/unsatisfactory option which means that it will not be counted in for the calculation of my GPA score.. After a disappointing result for my Mid-term exams, i was dying to see a 'S' on the computer screen because i know that i could do the paper and i had a good feel about it plus all the moderations.. *grinz* True enough, I've got a 'S' for HRM clear my requirements of AUs from that category..
That's about it for my results.. The year is coming to a close.. A whirlwind 2006 it has been for me.. I finished my NS liability, got a job and get to know wonderful friends from my workplace and of course enrolling in NTU to do a direct honours 3 years business course.. Knowing more friends and had a taste of what's like living on campus..
Lastly, i think i'm contented with what i'm having now.. I'm happy that things are turning out well although there are some knocks here and there but i'm sure 2007 will be a better year ahead..
As we await for the clock to struck 12mn tonight.. Its a dawn of a new year with new hopes and new resolutions.. Goodbye 2006..
Hello 2007!!
*cheers*

Title: Holidays!!
The start of December holidays.. This would mean that its time to play hard and even harder because before you realise something is amiss, its the start of a new semester.. You will not have the time and luxury to do whatever you please.. This holidays i'm pretty much involved with my hall activities.. There's the Hall Olympiads, FOC meetings and more ad-hoc jobs to canvess for funds for my respective committees.. Not forgetting i'm still working at Fossil Singapore during this festive season.. Also, i'm going Kukup for a class trip with my tutorial pals, it willl be fun i'm *god d***ed* sure!! With such a packed schedule, it seems like i do not have time for anything else except for that special union that's always there..
Ever since i finished my exams on 27 Nov, i've been to 2 class gatherings already, a KTV session, a Mambo getaway and i've started work at Fossil.. Its been tiring but this is the time to let your hair down because i know next semester will be a killer!! *haha* 1st class gathering was straight after the paper on 27 Nov, we were celebrating three 21st birthdays!! *haha* I can still remember what happened to me that fateful night on my 21st birthday!! *cui* Anyway, i was only there for the later part which was a sumptuous dinner at Swensens @ Crown Prince.. We had fun teasing and talking how our grades will be.. After that was the long awaited KTV session.. I've been dying to sing my hearts out.. *haha* I don't care whether my singing is up to standard, i just want to sing till i drop.. *haha rubbish* We sang all the way till 1am, shouting away when the tone and pitch were getting a bit high.. *haha* It was fantastic i must say!!
2nd class gathering was with my JC pals.. As usual, we hang out at my friend's house to eat steamboat and play mahjong.. It was great to see them again after a few months away.. This is the only chance whereby we can come together, chat about what's been going on lately.. From the days that we went army sharing our opinions and complains about how it was so monotonous and tiring to now how we rumble the difficulties of achieving higher GPAs and how many modules we are going to 'takeaway'.. *haha* It was great and i would never want to miss this dinner and gathering.. Let's hope it will be long!! *hehe*
The mambo getaway was great too.. Its been so long since i went there to enjoy myself dancing away, having a few drinks and just there to chill with my pals.. The main reason why i like Mambo so much is that it was there that i was introduced to clubbing during my friend's 18th birthday.. Since then, i'm kind of affliated to the place.. The music, the drinks and the ambience.. I've been to a few clubs but i must agree with the critics that Zouk stands out from the rest.. Kudos to the management team!!
I've been working at Fossil again but this time round i was involved in the annual stocktake at both Heeren and Suntec.. It was quite a feat to wake up so early and be at the place by 8am and out of the 2 days, i came punctually for one day only.. *haha 50%*.. It was tiring and mentally exhausting.. I'm glad its over and i can push for more sales to increase my comission.. Let's hope that my pay for this month will be higher than that for the month of October.. Its all up to me to achieve that.. *hee*
To be able to be there
Care and concern I must have
Hoping that i'm always here
To give my very best!!
IXIX
