Title: Attitude problem
I cant believe i actually tolerated this particular customer.. he's from somewhere to the side of the world where there's a famous Wonder over there.. the hint is that Wonder is a symbol of love for a King to his Queen.. he saw this watch from my counter and it was priced at $225.. i was away at that moment so my friend help me to serve him.. later in the night he came over to buy that watch.. this time i entertain him and show him the functions and capabilities.. explaning to him just like any other customer.. when i went over to the cashier to clinch the deal i realised this grave error.. it was pasted with a wrong price tag.. because at a departmental store, there are 2 price tags, one belongs to the company one belongs to the departmental store.. so the company one states $255 but the departmental one states $225.. and the actual pricing of the watch should be $255 instead of $225..
This is where all the fuss started.. i apologise to him on this error and said that its our mistake.. but he simply cannot accept this fact and keep on repeating i only trust XXX departmental store.. not your company.. i want to speak to your manager.. so to cut things short.. XXX departmental store manager came out and told him straight in the face that we will not bear that extra $30 just because of this mistake.. then he ended by saying i do not trust you all anymore.. when i go back i will tell my people about this.. i mean what the f**k??
If i were you, yes i will be unhappy why should i be paying extra for your mistake of $30... but after a while if really cannot then forget it.. if you really like that watch a lot.. i'm sure you wouldn't mind paying extra for it.. i mean its just $30.. and if you really feel that you shouldn't pay this extra amount because of the mistake was made by us then don't buy it.. why start a big fuss in a public place and insisting on getting it at $225.. bearing in mind there's a 20% rebate voucher promotion going on.. so you still can buy other stuff.. i simply cannot understand why he cannot step into our shoes also and think about it.. i fully understand his anger over this but i do not think you should make a big fuss about it in a public place that dragged for about 45mins long..
Some people are just like that.. i have no problems with these tourists at all.. but after this incident, it certainly changes my opinions on some of them.. its a reflection on their character and upbringing.. put it this way, if you can afford to pay $225 why cant you pay $30 more?? i cant see the logic behind this.. yes its our mistake but humans make errors.. please understand this fact!! nobody is perfect..
