Title: Great weekend
It was a great weekend for me.. I got my haircut and my new hp.. woo.. My haircut was $50.40 and the salon is located at 2nd level Jubilee Shopping Complex in Ang Mo Kio.. It was a trim and some layered cutting also.. Also i have added a new colour to it also.. After almost 2 years of dark and black hair, finally some colour to lift the spirits.. keke.. My new phone model is SE w810i.. Its a walkman phone so i do not need to buy an ipod save money and kill 2 birds with 1 stone.. It was super crowded.. I went into the shop at around 1310hrs but i came out after only 1415hrs.. Its not because the service was slow but there were just too many people.. I cant believe everyday i can see long quenes at this M1shop.. I wonder why?? After some configurations and fiddling with the phone.. Its good and easy to use, still trying to adjust to the different keys and the interface but i'm sure i will love it.. haha..
In the evening, went out with Weiming they all.. Great to see How chai and Sanjay, not forgetting Alvin also.. It was gathering to celebrate Sanjay's birthday but also a chance to catch up on whats happening lately.. Things aint good for How chai, hopefully he can understand what i've been telling him.. Besides that, my soccer team won 10-3 on Sunday as well.. I cant believe the scoreline.. It actually went into double figures.. woo.. We started scoring after about 1st 5 mins.. went 3-0 up after 15mins i think.. The best part is i scored a GOAL.. yeah.. This is not a mistake.. I scored a goal.. Froma corner taken by Kevin, I placed the ball into the net with not a single player defending me.. It was a easy goal, baring in mind i took it first time wor.. keke..
But i was shown a yellow card because i brought down a player inside the penalty box, you guessed it, it was a penalty awarded to the opposition.. Who was taking it?? Joshua Koh of all people, my classmate from my JC days.. He scruffed the kick and it went wayward.. Thankfully, i didnt turn from a hero to a villian.. Anyway the referee actually allowed a goal to stand from a throw-in.. I cant believe it, does he know the rules?? He claimed that somebody touches it but there wasnt a single soul within 5 yards of the ball.. Terrible refereeing.. I think he is a good friend of that Norwegian referee who officiated the Champions League Final 2 weeks ago.. All 3 goals conceded by my team were down to clumsiness and poor refereeing.. We cannot do a thing about it.. But i know my team is improving steadily.. This coming Saturday, a showdown with Alex's team.. Finally after so long, we face off.. But i'm without 6 regular players.. Hopefully we will produce something positive.. I wasnt pleased with my showing on Sunday even though i scored a goal and we won.. We need to improve further and that includes me as well..

Title: Sony Ericsson
This is supposed to be my maiden post on my new hp.. but it turn out to be a preview of whats in store.. keke.. i wanted to buy it today after my work, i rushed home took the next available train and when i reached my station, Sengkang.. to my horror, the M1 shop had drawn the shutters and i could see people still queneing inside.. i wanted to try my luck and ask the staff to open upthe shop for me because i'm a geniuine customer.. but i didnt.. so i have to plan another opportunity because for a new hp, you have to charge it for at least 10hrs.. so i plan to buy it tonight then i can leave it to charge then tomorrow i can use it already.. but too bad, it was not meant to be.. anyway i'm going to buy it on Sunday after my football game.. since i'm not going out after that.. so i can have the whole afternoon to do the charging and to figure how it works.. and of course loading the songs into it because it is going to be my walkman phone.. i can save money on buying ipod.. keke..
Tomorrow i'm going to have my hair cut.. woo.. finally after almost 5 years its back to my coloured hair again.. still wondering what colour and how to trim it.. shall see how it goes tomorrow.. i must wake up early also because that shop a lot of customers.. i dont wish to wait there and get it done late into the evening.. After the cut i think i will be meeting Victor for Da Vinci movie.. been waiting for a week to watch it already.. anyway i'm having my off for Saturday and Sunday.. keke.. weekends off.. cant believe it..
Last week, i bought my 1st Fred Perry Polo tee.. Shaoqiang brought me to 'White room' along Haji Lane to get it.. I tried and i was in love with it.. simply awesome.. even though it means burning a small hole in my pocket but it was worth it.. now i have the holy trinity - Ralph Lauren, Lacoste and Fred Perry Polo tees.. i cant believe it.. i'm so happy that i have them all.. haha.. besides that, i'm still sourcing a new pair of sneakers before school starts.. still got lots of things to buy.. but it seems like my reserves is dwelling.. must find another solution to that.. my birthday maybe.. haha.. its coming.. been hinting to some people hopefully i can receive them on my birthday.. haha.. haha.. evil me..

Title: Its over!!
As of today, Barcelona are the Champions League Winners for 2006.. It was hailed the best Final in recent memories.. But it turns out otherwise.. all because of the man in black.. They were saying Ronaldinho or Henry will be the star of the show but instead its the person who didnt even kicked the ball at all.. He was the ultimate STAR of the show, the spectacle, the finale.. What could be a better decision?? What could be the impact on the game after that decision?? What could be the final result? What could it have a bearing on the futures of Robert Pires and Thierry Henry?? so many questions.. but only one outcome.. the man in black jeopardized everything.. I read the reports that UEFA send asscessors to this match to evaluate the entire team of referees for this Final.. Why do such a thing on the biggest show in European club football?? and the man in the spotlight mentioned that he regretted that decision to send Lehmann off.. does it matters now?? the game is over.. nothing can changed the result.. Barcelona won.. end of story.. full stop..
We can only imagine and speculate and criticize.. but nothing can be done.. Arsenal lost the final and this could be their only chance of getting so close to winning it.. they were 15mins away.. i was telling myself when i watched the game.. that at the 75th min onwards, its going to be crucial.. just when i finished that, Eto'o scored the equaliser.. it was heartbreak for all.. tears rolled down my cheeks when the final whistle was blown and the Arsenal players sat down on the pitch thinking what could it be??
I am convinced they will be back to their swaggering best come next season at the new Emirates stadium.. hopefully with their cult hero stil there donning the famous red and white jersey.. doing his very best and perhaps just perhaps.. the 1st ever player to score in the new stadium.. as for now, i'm still upset about what happened last night..

Title: Attitude problem
I cant believe i actually tolerated this particular customer.. he's from somewhere to the side of the world where there's a famous Wonder over there.. the hint is that Wonder is a symbol of love for a King to his Queen.. he saw this watch from my counter and it was priced at $225.. i was away at that moment so my friend help me to serve him.. later in the night he came over to buy that watch.. this time i entertain him and show him the functions and capabilities.. explaning to him just like any other customer.. when i went over to the cashier to clinch the deal i realised this grave error.. it was pasted with a wrong price tag.. because at a departmental store, there are 2 price tags, one belongs to the company one belongs to the departmental store.. so the company one states $255 but the departmental one states $225.. and the actual pricing of the watch should be $255 instead of $225..
This is where all the fuss started.. i apologise to him on this error and said that its our mistake.. but he simply cannot accept this fact and keep on repeating i only trust XXX departmental store.. not your company.. i want to speak to your manager.. so to cut things short.. XXX departmental store manager came out and told him straight in the face that we will not bear that extra $30 just because of this mistake.. then he ended by saying i do not trust you all anymore.. when i go back i will tell my people about this.. i mean what the f**k??
If i were you, yes i will be unhappy why should i be paying extra for your mistake of $30... but after a while if really cannot then forget it.. if you really like that watch a lot.. i'm sure you wouldn't mind paying extra for it.. i mean its just $30.. and if you really feel that you shouldn't pay this extra amount because of the mistake was made by us then don't buy it.. why start a big fuss in a public place and insisting on getting it at $225.. bearing in mind there's a 20% rebate voucher promotion going on.. so you still can buy other stuff.. i simply cannot understand why he cannot step into our shoes also and think about it.. i fully understand his anger over this but i do not think you should make a big fuss about it in a public place that dragged for about 45mins long..
Some people are just like that.. i have no problems with these tourists at all.. but after this incident, it certainly changes my opinions on some of them.. its a reflection on their character and upbringing.. put it this way, if you can afford to pay $225 why cant you pay $30 more?? i cant see the logic behind this.. yes its our mistake but humans make errors.. please understand this fact!! nobody is perfect..
I wish you have a pleasant flight back.. bon voyage.. never to see you in my country again!!

Title: Highbury Farewell
Last weekend was the last ever EPL game hosted by the famous ground.. after 93 long years.. Highbury is saying goodbye and parts of the stadium will be sold off before developments of new flats for the London people.. Arsenal will be moving to the new state-of-the-art 60,000 capacity Ashburton Grove named Emirates Stadium.. It was really a perfect ending on the last day for Arsenal.. They needed to win the game and hope Tottenham do not get maximun points from their game at West London West Ham United.. Wigan was about to spoil the party by going 1-2 up before Thierry Henry took over.. 1st goal was typical Henry, he slot home after receiving a through pass from compatriot Robert Pires and Highbury was back to their singing best again.. Mid way through 2nd half, David Thompson played the most horrible back pass to his keeper and Henry intercepted it and went round the keeper before putting it into an empty net.. Arsena 3-2 up and well on course to Champions League.. henry knew that a hat trick will be the perfect ending to this stadium.. Freddie was brought down and Henry stepped up and completed his ninth hat trick in Arsenal colours.. Highbury erupted.. who could have scripted this ending and with Tottenham losing 2-1 to West Ham.. everything went as planned.. after the match ended it was party time.. before the grand old stadium will be locked up for good.. what memories.. what a way to end the last football game on Highbury turf.. A hat-trick by the captain and argubly the best player on the planet, a red card for a substitute who was on in just mere seconds ago, a terrible backpass from the player whom created so much problems for the opposing team and lastly, a victory to savour and all roads lead to Paris now for the grand finale to round off this special year for the Gunners.. A first ever European Cup will be the coup the grace for this famous stadium.. All the best Gooners!!
Besides this game, my team won the last match 5-1 with a unbalanced team because the regular keeper was away due to personal commitments and we had a stand-in.. he was great.. plus some regulars out due to exams also.. we were delighted to win the game having come back from 1-0 down early in the 1st half.. overall, i think we have the potential to go far.. really.. no joke here..
Anyway i just came back from ktv at partyworld with Chee Wee and Ching hei and Yahui.. didnt expect her to turn up though.. it was raining so heavily that i have to borrow umbrella from the 'Shin Lin stall at Cineleisure'.. but the umbrella was of no use actually.. i was completely drenched and it was super cold.. really cold.. after the singing, went to S-11 for supper by heading back home.. kind of tired now.. tomorrow working again before my next off day..
Last night went to NTU with Weiming to take our fridge from Lijun.. and our clothes hanger.. it was heavy very heavy and the ice was still frozen inside.. damn afraid it will dirty or scratch my aunt's car.. thankfully it didnt.. next time my room will this fridge and i can have ice cream to look forward to.. hee.. Ben and Jerry's.. woo.. simply awesome..

Title: May Day!!
Today is May Day aka Labour Day.. its supposed to be a day to reward the workers for their effort and hard work put in their everyday job be it construction workers or toilet cleaners.. everybody got a part to play to make this a beautiful place to live in.. alright enough of preaching.. but for me its just another holiday for me to relax and chill.. thank god i'm off today been working on alternate days so its bit of stop gap situation for me right now.. but after this, i will be back to my usual working patterns.. talking about Labour Day, this means that Mothers' Day will be just around the corner.. Its supposed to be on the 2nd Sunday of the month of May.. and mum is pestering me to buy her a gift which i'm trying to avoid the topic.. its not that i'm unfilial or what but i'm just thinking of asking her out to a dinner which is more practical.. at least with Dad around also then it will be nice.. pity that Sis is away at the moment.. well, there's always another day when she's back though..
I'm so embarrassed that my colleagues found out my blog but the whole idea of blogging is to let your readers have their say but the thing is they ask me to go into my blog and show it to them (my shop has internet access).. they were reading it right before my eyes.. so embarrassing.. i mean i do not mind if you read it behind your LCD/CRT screen but not in front of me.. i've got this uneasy feeling..
Been doing nothing much recently accept for working and oh ya i managed to have a little gathering with my secondary school pals on Saturday because i was having my off day.. its been a while since they saw one another also.. especially for the case of Shaoqiang who's been busy with his exams and disc jogging things.. so we went around shopping just because we've got our Progress Package, it seems like we've got $2000.. haha.. we sat down at Carl's Jr at Suntec.. had our dinner and since its free flow of drinks we sat there chatting about how childish we were back then.. it was great to see all of them because they have been around me for almost 10 years.. great memories and fantastic bunch of friends..
One last thing, i'm going to the polls this coming Saturday.. its under Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC.. so sson after my 21st birthday i'm going to vote.. it will be a significant entry in my life.. because you never know when will you ever get to vote again.. alright i'm keeping my vote secret because i do not want to invite trouble.. hee..
