Title: People's Park
As the title suggests, this is about People's park the famous place where you can shop for new yr goodies.. but i'm not talking about the shopping but my working experience there.. as i have already mentioned in my earlier posts that i'm working for Fossil so there's a counter at OG People's Park.. so definitely you will need a person to be stationed there to look after the watches and to push for sales.. I was there for consecutive 2 days in a row.. it is the most boring thing that i have done for my 21 years of life.. absolutely there's nothing you can do there.. talk about housekeeping, arranging the stocks and paper work.. i've done those but there isn't anything to do there.. worse still, that counter serves as a information counter for many passers by leaving the OG building.. I've got common questions like 'where's the toilet?', 'where's the ATM?', 'which floor sells electrical products?', and the best question so far - 'Do you know the Hindu temple that is nearby and there's a flea market there do you know how to go there?' I cant believe it, i actually managed to stay there for 2 consecutive days and other days also..
I really pity the full timer that's being posted there, poor sales and simply boring!! no wonder she has quitted her job and what does that mean - i'm going to be posted there more often.. it irks me.. The only benefits of going there are - i get to leave at 2030hrs because its a Mid-day shift and I have direct transport there by taking the NEL.. thats all i could think of.. every other thing else is a negative.. sometimes i am so proud of myself that i managed to stay there for 7 1/2hrs less my break time..
The best thing is after my this blog, i'm going to be there for the next 2 days as well.. its going to be tough.. real tough for me.. because i have nothing to do.. i rather have my off days then to be stationed there and earning the basic pay.. its unbelieveable boredom!!
