Title: The end is near...
I was on leave for the past week. Just managed to go back to work yesterday and everything's ok and fine. That's because i've been contacting my understudy who is Shaun Tan previously Hwa chong Instituition. He's a nice chap actually just need need some guidance and he should quite well. His language is good so thats could cover up certain problems. One thing i did not like is his calling everyday at 9am without fail. That seems to be my wake up though i have no intention of waking up so early. Well, if i'm not going to help him then who will?? Seriously, i was idling around this past week. Going to people's house to try my luck and organizing mahjong sessions if possible. Ever since my mum told me that i should stop my potluck sessions, it has been downfall all the way. I decided its time to stop before anything goes awry.
I managed to meet up with Jit, my course mate from SOCC days. He stays quite near so i've been asking him out for lunches and dinner if possible. On wednesday, we went to Ang Mo Kio to get some stuff for my game on Sunday. Talking about the game, finally we are going to have a game and its against some poly guys if i'm not wrong. I am looking forward to this game because i will be playing in a new role for the 1st time, Defensive midfielder. Hopefully we will have an opening victory. I will update in my next entry. I went to Sportslink to myself a new pair of shin guards, apparantly i lost my prebious pair and i need one if i'm going to be involved in the game at all. Not only that, i got myself another new pair of socks. Before that, we went to the hawker centre for our lunch, it brought great memories when i was young. I used to play at the playground while waiting for our table to be served because it could take up to 1 hour for the food to be ready and i will make use of this chance to get myself involved in riding the bicycles (4 wheels though). Great fun and it was nostalgic.
Yesterday my unit was having its annual steamboat dinner and i went back to help out as much as possible. At the same time, i did my dental and medical checkup before i was declared fit to ORD. And so my title goes, the end is near. A little more than a month and i will be getting my identity card for the 1st time since it was taken away from my hands on 14th Jan 2004. I decided that i will go change the picture because i looked way too young in that. Before i think about that, these 2 weeks shall be my busiest because Asian Aerospace is just round the corner so i need to prepare for that. Not only that, it seems like just about you are leaving things start coming back again and things keep pushing to you. I look at the brighter side of it thinking that its better to ask someone who knows the stuff better to do it than asking Shaun. Anyway, i will be working closely with him to make sure that he knows the stuff.
Talking about Shaun, i was counselling him that day over the phone telling him to do the proper manner to save trouble. Seriously, i do not want anything to happen to him just because he follows what others are doing. No point you are the victim because you follow suit and when things go wrong, everybody in line will be affected parties. Hopefully he can understand what i am doing for him.
Thats all for now... Its back to work, a final push before the day i've been looking forward to it for 2 years.
*Cheers*
