Title: Swordbearers!!
I will try to make my blog as related as to my title as close as possible. As the title suggests, I am taking up the role as swordbearer again, this is my 2nd time in as many months as possible. Incredible is the word to use because I have never done this before and in just 2 months I am doing it for the 2nd time. Its a good experience because you can don the smartest military uniform and the way it is being conducted, it is very grand and everybody will be looking at you as you entered the main ballroom. You cant allow minimal mistakes, every detail must be spot on and you certainly do not wish your superior to look unglamourous in front of the guests. The reason why I am blogging now is because i am going out soon and will not be back until late at night i suppose. After the wedding dinner finishes, I am still comtemplating whether I should go back to camp or come home. The reason is that tomorrow i am going back very early because i am going for my shoot so I shall see how. Let's hope everything goes smoothly later in the evening.
Its slightly less than a month before Christmas is here. The mood for this coming festive season can be felt throughout Orchard road. Lights have been put up, shopping malls decorated with impressive displays, shoppers throng the streets for Christams gifts and its holidays for many who have just completed major exams. Working adults have been taking annual leave to spend time with their loved ones over this festive period. Everybody is gearing up for this Christmas season and the dawn of the New Year as well. For me, as the holidays draw nearer, I know that I am leaving the service sooner than later. I shalln't hide my feeling that I would like to complete my service as soon as possible. Even though it may be argued that the allowance is good and the perks are rewarding too. All this matters nothing to me because like i have mentioned it before that I want to do things that I am interested in. That's the bottomline for my anxiety to complete my service as soon as possible.
It's going to be another week before i start my leave again. I am glad that i can spend some time at home tidying up my room because New year is coming so some cleaning up is good. I shall update more as i wish to.
