Title: Sunset Bay
As the title suggests, I went to the beach on Saturday. The sun, sand and the sea, all comes together in a beautiful picture right before my eyes. Elvin called me up on Thursday night suggesting that we should make a trip to Sentosa for a get away on Saturday, since I was free so why not. Shihao, Hanchong, Chion Teen, Junquan, Liangshing and Elvin himself were there for this trip to the south. Frankly speaking on the day itself, the sky was turning dark and it was about to rain so i thought i should just stayed at home and sleep, i called up and ask them whether the outing was still on and they said yes, we should go there and take a look and see how's things are over at that side.
As per normal, I know they will be late for this, so i planned my timing nicely so that when i reach, at elast i am not the only one waiting for them, sounds selfish but that's the way it is. Anyway, whne i reached i was the only one there together with Shihao, the two of us known to be late-comers were the earliest. What a surprise it was! We went to Mac's for Brunch actually, then Elvin and his gang arrived. We decided to make our way there while we wait for the rest to turn up later. We stopped at Siloso Beach before walking to sunset bay where we intend to stay put there and enjoy a game of beach volleyball. As we were approaching the bar itself, there were tentages around displaying 'FHM', to our surprise, the magazine is organizing 'FHM Girl Next Door' Competition. It was an eye-opener, *smilez* so we put down our stuff, bought ourselves the tickets to play the entire day at the designated courts on the beach. We rented a volleyball and started playing around before we make our way to the court and had a game. We were enjoying ourselves before thius guy came along and ask whether they could join us for a friendly game and we obliged.
It was entertaining, but at least we won. As we were playing, i noticed this girl standing around chatting with her friends, she look familiar from my side of view and i thought she was Jessica Phang. My classmate from secondary school and one of my best pals, after some thoughts, we went over to say hi and she asking if they could play against us too. It was 4 v 4 ( 4 guys and 4 girls) Due to the fact that, they are regular customers here with experience playing the game, we lost, yes the 4 of us lost and it was a tough fight also. No shame about it, we just want to enjoy ourselves. Before we knew it, it was dark and its time to bathe and leave for dinner. Elvin and the rest had their own plans so they make a move first. Shihao, Hanchong and I went over to Harbourfront to had our dinner. We sat there chatting up, i had my dessert and since Hanchong was meeting his girlfriend so we decided to leave. I went back to watch my soccer game which was showing Arsenal game.
It was a pleasant weekend spent on an island. I would not mind going back there again but that's after i have recovered from the bruises and scratches on my hands and legs. Another week has gone by and another awaits. *cheers*
