Title: Flying on a Jet plane
To all my dearest frenz who are reading my blog if there are any.. i am leaving tomorrow morning.. to the Pearl of the Orient for my overseas trip.. on holidays not training purposes.. i will be away from 17th till 21st night.. i going away with my 3 course mates.. whom stuck through my signal course with me.. this is also a good time for me to clear my leave before it is forfeited.. hopefully this is going to be a meaningful yet enjoyable trip for me.. never been to Hong Kong at all and never been to Disneyland also.. finally i get my chance to set foot on their shores.. boost up their economy by buying back their stuff as i embark on my shopping trip.. hehe.. i also wished that my deputies in camp will help me to do a satisfactory job while i am away.. so that when i come back there will not be too many things to clear up or clean up actually.. i have confidence in them..
Yesterday was fun! sword bearer was a fantastic experience for me.. went there early around 3:30pm to meet up with my fellow colleagues at the lobby before proceeding to our changing room which is actually a hotel room for us.. change into our rehearsal attire before proceeding down to the ballroom itself to practice our movements and coordinations.. it was really enjoying and we had our fair share of fun and laughter.. after few rounds of practice and run-throughs.. we are ready for the show.. went back to change into our ceremonial uniforms and waited for the cue for us to proceed to the main ballroom again.. this time round, things are different.. all the guests have arrived and the excitment and anxiety is there.. we cannot afford any mistakes because we are the highlights of that moment.. hehe.. we took photographs here and there.. finally its time to standby and assume our positions outside the ballroom before the door opened..
The music started and we march in smartly and proud of it.. this not only represents our unit, our army but also how well we wanted this to be and not be a disappointment to the groom and bride.. if we put up a good show, it will leave a lasting impression and the guests will be thinking that the groom and bride want the best for the invited guests.. it was roughly 10mins before we make our way out of the ballroom.. it was over!! gosh! true enough nothing in this world is perfect, we did have our mistakes here and there but it was minimal we were happy for ourselves and for the bride and groom also.. at leats we did not mess up the show.. hehe.. it was time to change and enjoy our feast.. haha.. was very hungry.. could hear my stomach calling out for food.. came down changed and enjoy the food that was on the table for us..we were chatting and laughing and had a wonderful time all because of 1 man.. without him, we will not be so happy.. i have never seen my friend laughs until so happy in my sint as PC in this unit.. haha.. thanks my pal for making it an enjoyable night for all of us.. not forgetting the bride and groom who invited as the sword bearers... may you have an everlasting marriage!!
that was my night at the Marriot.. attending a wedding dinner.. participating in it also.. hehe.. now its time for me to go.. to my frenz, do not worry.... i will try to buy the stuff (what you all wanted) back if i could and with the available means as well.. take care my pals and to that someone.. i will search high and low for the things you wanted.. cheers!!
