Title: Back to work!!
Before i am back in my office tomorrow morning, i am here to update my trip to the far east! My 5 days 4 nights tour to the Pearl of the Orient is officially over 2 days ago.. It was fun, Disneyland was great.. the fireworks and the parade was a eye-catcher..
I touched down at Hong Kong International Airport around 1020am on Monday.. and from there we took a cityflyer (bus) to the main city area which is in Kowloon.. we managed to find our way there to our hostel quite easily actually.. ehhe.. checked into our room.. not bad really enough walking space for 1 person to the toilet and back to the beds.. 1 double-decker and 2 single beds.. 1 tv set.. air-con is there and there's a toilet for our own use.. the place is clean and tidy.. my card reads 10 out of 10 for the hostel we are leaving in.. and its cheap.. 100 bucks per person for 4 nights.. after all the paper work we proceeded down to have our lunch.. i was really very hungry.. 1st eatery that we saw was 'yun tun mian' shop.. we went in and the 'yun tun' was superb.. there were 3 prawns in it and the fillings was great.. the 'mian' was delicious.. for 11 bucks per bowl its worth every cent i am paying for.. After that, we went to do our shopping around Mong Kok area because my hostel is in that area.. went to 'niu ren jie' all the bags, souvenirs and printed shirts were hanging there.. we went all the way to Tsim Sha Tui to shop around there as well.. this is just a summary of my 1st day there actually... to lazy to type out everything.. hehe..
2nd day we went to Disneyland via MTR (our MRT).. they have this special train designated to go to Disneyland itself.. and it was very nice and innovative.. inside the train, the seats were different and there were Mickey mouse like figures on display.. its really very interesting to have a train specially for travelling to Disneyland.. went to the ticketing booth to exchange for the tickets.. went in and immediately we saw Chipmunks standing there to take pics with the tourists.. without any hesitation we quene up to have our photos taken with them as well.. there were Daisy, Mickey and Minney.. Goofy and Winnie the Pooh and Tigger... we went around the Disneyland taking photos and taking their rights plus some sight-seeing as well.. around 330pm there was a parade something like our Chingay!! there were percussions, singing, beautiful displays and dancing around as well.. after the parade it was about nightfall and all waited for the fireworks display.. it was simply fantastic.. the view was picturesque.. it was time to leave after that... bought some stuff also.. quite expensive as expected..
Alright i shall stop at Day2 of my trip.. This is just a brief account of what happened.. hehe.. too lazy to type out.. shall continue tomorrow.. Its back to work tomorrow.. hopefully everything's fine and i do not need to clear up anything when i am back.. i trust my deputy and his team.. so i am sure when i am back tomorrow i just need to have a quick review and what's in store.. Shall stop here then..
