Title: Unnamed
Its been a week since I am back from my trip. After some calculation, I realised that it was an expensive trip, the accomodation and air tickets were cheap, no doubt about that. I think I spent a lot on my shopping and the 'swiping' of my card, haha. Iw ent back to my office on Monday and brought along the goodies i bought from my trip, once i switched on my PC, i saw a lot of unread mails and some follow-up actions that need to be done but i simply do not have any idea how to do it. This is the post-trip effect, haha, I really do not know how to get the things done or how to get it going. I took a break went to the mess had a cup of coffee before i start the ball rolling again. Slowly but surely, things start to move and i am getting back to where i was before the trip. Hehe, never thought that this trip would have such undesirable effects on myself but i do not mind at all actually.
It was a busy week actually, had to finish up on a assignment which was left undone or i pass it to my colleague and now I am back, close the assignment as soon as possible. The defining moment came when i playing soccer on wednesday with my camp mates at the basketball court. As usual, I was running around chasing the ball and attempting to score from any angle, hehe. when it was about time to go, i tried to backheel the ball into the path of my incoming teammate who was running in. I missed the ball completely and i pulled my hamstring, it was painful and it was unbearable. I sat down totally could not move at all, couldn't even stand up and shake it off. That's it, it was the signal to end the day's session. i limped my way back to my unit and it was painful, the pain was horrible!! In my mind, i was thinking is this injury going to affect my work? I really still have work to do and i cannot afford to stay away for too long even though i wish i could. I sat down at the mess started to massage my leg and stretching, hoping to loosen the affected area and shake it off. I went back told my mum about this, my dad went down to buy the 'counter-pain' cream for me to rub it. It was quite effective actually, I could feel the 'hotness' so i think that's good.
The next day, it was better managed to walk but it was uncomfortable. No choice, at least this is better than having to go see a doctor and wasting money. I had to leave the office around noon to go over to Raffles Place MRT station. I am going there to do some trials on some equipment. The experience was rewarding, I managed to recap some of the things i have learnt while i was on course back then. Its rather embarrassing also because the public is looking at you, wondering what's this guy doing with that piece of thing?? So it was a good experience for me actually except for that awkwardness.
Today, i went back to my alma mater, Whitley Secondary School. One of my friends, started passing around this message that there was a carnival going on today because the school is moving to Toa Payoh for 2 years before shifting back again. So its going to be a holding place for them at Toa Payoh. It was great to see some of my ex teachers still there teaching though they couldn't recognize me anymore. The carnival was quite boring actually or maybe it was in the afternoon and it was ending soon so nothing much going on. But i went back not for the carnival but to meet up some old pals whom I have not seen quite some time. It was a good afternoon before i went back home to sleep.

Title: Back to work!!
Before i am back in my office tomorrow morning, i am here to update my trip to the far east! My 5 days 4 nights tour to the Pearl of the Orient is officially over 2 days ago.. It was fun, Disneyland was great.. the fireworks and the parade was a eye-catcher..
I touched down at Hong Kong International Airport around 1020am on Monday.. and from there we took a cityflyer (bus) to the main city area which is in Kowloon.. we managed to find our way there to our hostel quite easily actually.. ehhe.. checked into our room.. not bad really enough walking space for 1 person to the toilet and back to the beds.. 1 double-decker and 2 single beds.. 1 tv set.. air-con is there and there's a toilet for our own use.. the place is clean and tidy.. my card reads 10 out of 10 for the hostel we are leaving in.. and its cheap.. 100 bucks per person for 4 nights.. after all the paper work we proceeded down to have our lunch.. i was really very hungry.. 1st eatery that we saw was 'yun tun mian' shop.. we went in and the 'yun tun' was superb.. there were 3 prawns in it and the fillings was great.. the 'mian' was delicious.. for 11 bucks per bowl its worth every cent i am paying for.. After that, we went to do our shopping around Mong Kok area because my hostel is in that area.. went to 'niu ren jie' all the bags, souvenirs and printed shirts were hanging there.. we went all the way to Tsim Sha Tui to shop around there as well.. this is just a summary of my 1st day there actually... to lazy to type out everything.. hehe..
2nd day we went to Disneyland via MTR (our MRT).. they have this special train designated to go to Disneyland itself.. and it was very nice and innovative.. inside the train, the seats were different and there were Mickey mouse like figures on display.. its really very interesting to have a train specially for travelling to Disneyland.. went to the ticketing booth to exchange for the tickets.. went in and immediately we saw Chipmunks standing there to take pics with the tourists.. without any hesitation we quene up to have our photos taken with them as well.. there were Daisy, Mickey and Minney.. Goofy and Winnie the Pooh and Tigger... we went around the Disneyland taking photos and taking their rights plus some sight-seeing as well.. around 330pm there was a parade something like our Chingay!! there were percussions, singing, beautiful displays and dancing around as well.. after the parade it was about nightfall and all waited for the fireworks display.. it was simply fantastic.. the view was picturesque.. it was time to leave after that... bought some stuff also.. quite expensive as expected..
Alright i shall stop at Day2 of my trip.. This is just a brief account of what happened.. hehe.. too lazy to type out.. shall continue tomorrow.. Its back to work tomorrow.. hopefully everything's fine and i do not need to clear up anything when i am back.. i trust my deputy and his team.. so i am sure when i am back tomorrow i just need to have a quick review and what's in store.. Shall stop here then..

Title: Flying on a Jet plane
To all my dearest frenz who are reading my blog if there are any.. i am leaving tomorrow morning.. to the Pearl of the Orient for my overseas trip.. on holidays not training purposes.. i will be away from 17th till 21st night.. i going away with my 3 course mates.. whom stuck through my signal course with me.. this is also a good time for me to clear my leave before it is forfeited.. hopefully this is going to be a meaningful yet enjoyable trip for me.. never been to Hong Kong at all and never been to Disneyland also.. finally i get my chance to set foot on their shores.. boost up their economy by buying back their stuff as i embark on my shopping trip.. hehe.. i also wished that my deputies in camp will help me to do a satisfactory job while i am away.. so that when i come back there will not be too many things to clear up or clean up actually.. i have confidence in them..
Yesterday was fun! sword bearer was a fantastic experience for me.. went there early around 3:30pm to meet up with my fellow colleagues at the lobby before proceeding to our changing room which is actually a hotel room for us.. change into our rehearsal attire before proceeding down to the ballroom itself to practice our movements and coordinations.. it was really enjoying and we had our fair share of fun and laughter.. after few rounds of practice and run-throughs.. we are ready for the show.. went back to change into our ceremonial uniforms and waited for the cue for us to proceed to the main ballroom again.. this time round, things are different.. all the guests have arrived and the excitment and anxiety is there.. we cannot afford any mistakes because we are the highlights of that moment.. hehe.. we took photographs here and there.. finally its time to standby and assume our positions outside the ballroom before the door opened..
The music started and we march in smartly and proud of it.. this not only represents our unit, our army but also how well we wanted this to be and not be a disappointment to the groom and bride.. if we put up a good show, it will leave a lasting impression and the guests will be thinking that the groom and bride want the best for the invited guests.. it was roughly 10mins before we make our way out of the ballroom.. it was over!! gosh! true enough nothing in this world is perfect, we did have our mistakes here and there but it was minimal we were happy for ourselves and for the bride and groom also.. at leats we did not mess up the show.. hehe.. it was time to change and enjoy our feast.. haha.. was very hungry.. could hear my stomach calling out for food.. came down changed and enjoy the food that was on the table for us..we were chatting and laughing and had a wonderful time all because of 1 man.. without him, we will not be so happy.. i have never seen my friend laughs until so happy in my sint as PC in this unit.. haha.. thanks my pal for making it an enjoyable night for all of us.. not forgetting the bride and groom who invited as the sword bearers... may you have an everlasting marriage!!
that was my night at the Marriot.. attending a wedding dinner.. participating in it also.. hehe.. now its time for me to go.. to my frenz, do not worry.... i will try to buy the stuff (what you all wanted) back if i could and with the available means as well.. take care my pals and to that someone.. i will search high and low for the things you wanted.. cheers!!

Title: Wedding!!
Today is my friend's birthday and my OC's wedding also. I am attending both.. hehe.. i am the sword bearer for my OC, first time attending a military wedding, think it should be fun.. wear no. 1.. so proud of it.. haha.. after that should be going down to my friend's house because he is celebrating his 21st birthday.. so have to rush here and there.. tomorrow will be my last day in singapore before departing for the 'Pearl of the Orient'.. haha.. Disneyland here i come.. looking forward to this trip.. with my kakis.. i have not done anything yet leh.. have not change money, have not pack my bag.. my frenz have been trying to coordinate the timings to meet because my flight is going to 0640hrs.. so around 0440 i have to be at the airport to check in.. they were discussing that we go over to the airport on sunday night.. like that going to hang around until its time to check in.. not a bad idea la.. i do not mind at all.. one thing i was pretty concerned with is the meals on board the flight.. because it is a budget airline, i do not think there will be meals catered for.. i am going to be damn hungry.. but i ehard there's a shop on the flight itself and you can purchase some food to eat. i certainly hope this is true..
these few days in camp have been playing soccer almost every afternoon.. haha.. do not think i am that free its because of the love for the game that's y i accept the offer to play.. great workout i should say.. hasn't been running for quite some time so this soccer session is to work on my stamina again.. injure myself also.. haiz.. got a few bruises here and there.. very ugly.. but no choice soccer comes 1st la.. went for a rehearsal for the wedding on thursday.. its seems fun to be the sword bearer.. haha.. some drills to practice on and some coordinating movements you have to master it..
This holiday trip i have been waiting for ages finally it is going to happen.. but i am afraid my work load when i am back or my deputy is unable to handle or deal with the work while i am away.. sighz~ i really hope they will do a good job in deputizing me this week and when i am back i do not need to clear up the mess they left behind but rather thankful that i have such able guys around me who are there to help me along..
i shall stop here.. i will do a final update tomorrow before i fly off and will upload all the wonderful pictures i am going to take while i am there.. especially the pictures with Porky Pig if i see him there at Disneyland!!

Title: I'm back!!
Finally after 1 week of absence.. i'm back.. this past week has been rather busy with my work and too tired to blog.. or nothing much interesting to blog about.. its been an eventful week for me personally.. coming to the end of the week.. something dramatic happened which resulted in me flaring up for the 1st time in my office.. to the shock of my colleagues... i didnt want to shout and do those nasty stuff.. but what happened really ignited my fuse and i simply let go.. haiz.. so many reports i have to do.. so many explanations to my superiors.. so many follow ups and reviews i have to think about it.. all because of this bugger who cant think.. or whose luck simply ran out that day... alright i do not want to talk about him anymore..
Good news.. finally i have my flight details of my trip to Hong Kong. I will be leaving very early in the morning to check in at the airport and will be back late at night on a friday evening... i will be staying in a hostel located at kowloon.. really looking forward to this trip.. i need a break.. both mentally and physically.. this is a good time to go also.. for the 1st time in my life i will be going to Disneyland... haha.. i heard about it.. saw the pics on tv.. listened to it.. finally i am going to set foot on that piece of land.. haha.. thats an update on my impending overseas trip with my course kakis.. haha..
some updates on myself.. i have been feeling very tired everytime i come home from work.. i also dunno whats happening.. maybe i've been sleeping too much.. that's why i'm feeling this manner.. or maybe its really because i'm tired.. haha.. i also dunno.. yesterday i was DOO in my unit.. another weekend burnt.. haha.. not only yesterday i was worried about my duty, i was worried that something might be activated.. thank god.. it didnt happen.. it went smoothly to say the least..
this coming week will be my last working week before i depart for the 'Pearl of the Orient'.. haha.. i'm totally excited about it.. cheers!!

Title: 40 yr old virgin!!
It was an eventful weekend for me.. As i mentioned Friday i took an OFF day and stayed at home.. getting back my beauty sleep.. hehe.. As early as 9am in the morning, i received a call from my people in camp.. manged to get things done through phone.. didnt have to make the trip back to camp.. finally gald that everything turns out nicely.. so back to my sleep.. In the evening, Raymond was asking me out for a party.. i decline the offer.. didnt want to spend money so instead stayed at home and watch the Guess show.. It was a well-derserved rest for me..
Saturday had a match at Ahmad Ibrahim Sec.. Rafael called me up on Thursday and asking me to help him play the game with Jianan's team.. I mean since its been a while i saw him so why not?? I managed to entice Weiming to join me.. when we reached there realised that we are short of players.. so i managed to get Sanjay's services also.. haha.. make him drive to MRT station to pick the both of us.. hehe..when we were there, the gate to the field was locked.. kind of frustrated because we wasted time here and there waiting for people to come and now waiting for the gate to open.. haiz.. Just as we were about to leave the gate was opened.. well everybody was glad that at least we could get a game.. we changed up and i was playing striker.. haha.. throught the game i was running around like a headless chicken.. no balls came to me.. haha.. we were given a thrashing by our opponents... haiz.. so i decided to revert back to my original position which is defensive midfielder.. haha.. managed to cut off their attacks but we still let in goals.. but its ok.. just wanted to play and kick about.. it was a good opportunity to meet up with old pals and a good workout.. After the game went to Sanjay's house to bathe but he was in a rush to leave the house.. so it was a shower actually..
Went to blk 925 for dinner with Weiming.. great dinner.. sambal kang-kong, sweet n sour pork and claypot toufu.. best!! haha.. really know how to pamper myself.. hehe.. went back home tired and aching.. bruises here and there... Shihao called me telling me the parade just ended and they are going back now.. It was Hanchong's comissioning parade with Elvin and Junquan as well.. I couldn't go because of the soccer match.. in the end Shihao called asking me out for mid-night show at Yishun with Elvin and he was driving.. hehe.. got free ride.. we watched 'the 40 yr old virgin' it was a good show but i do not think its worth $9.50.. i would ratehr watch it during weekdays.. After that went over to Feran's place to had supper.. talked a lot of things.. some secrets.. hehe.. In the end we went to Seletar Dam.. i dread that place because alot of mosquitoes and Yishun is a dengue hit area.. haha.. we stayed there for about an hour and half.. talked a lot things.. managed to found out a lot of things also.. ahha... it was a brothers' night la.. haha..
Today slept until 3pm.. aha.. it was great.. didn't do much just watch tv and sleep only.. hehe.. tomorrow its back to work.. sighz~ there are some other things i want to blog it down.. but i think i shall just keep it to myself.. cheers~
