Title: Mess initiation!!!
Yesterday was my Mess initiation.. I thought i could escaped it and waited for the next one.. by then, i am clearing my leave le.. so no need to initiate.. For those who dunno what's this about.. let me explain to you.. Basically for newly personnel posted into the unit, if they are allowed in the Commanders' Mess they must be initiated 1st or so called to let the rest of the people in the unit to get to know you better and for them to drink alot more beer that night.. FOC!!! haha... you are supposed to follow some steps and procedures and do not cocked it up if not you are going to drink again.. after the steps they are going to ask you questions which do not have or you will not have a clue of what is the ans so in the end you will be drinking and drinking.. If you happen to guess it correct then you are saved the person who shoot this qns will be the one drinking it.. haha...
Finally we made our way into the Mess, when we were on top of the bench we cocked it up already forget to ask for permission to mount the bench... 1st glass.. haha.. after some self-introduction its time for the questions to start.. obviously we do not know any of the questions.. so in the end we drank 3 more glasses one after another... before drowning another special cocktail made by the Mess committee... it was bitter sweet.. my fren who is the incoming DYS2 could not take it anymore so he vomitted.. oh yah.. dont worry.. they had everything in placed.. they palced 2 dust bins in front of you in case this happens.. haha.. luckily he was alright afterwards.. before this, we had a day initiation... we had to search the whole camp compound looking for parts of the equipment... then as usual we had our fair share of tekan session.. did almost 100 push ups and 100++ sit ups.. its been a while since i have been tekan until like that.. those were the days.. haha.. but i didnt had the 'garang' feeling back.. haha... it was an enjoyable night i must say... we had some interesting questions for the rest of the initiatees who have no ans for that.. haha... after that we decided to go down to Chinablack and enjoy ourselves.. we took a cab down and guess what after the trip there my head started spinning and you are right i vomitted once i was out of the cab.. haiz.. spoiler.. after a while i told them i cant take it le so decided to go back and rest... lousy way to end my evening.. haha...
Today i went to Comex 2005.. it was jam packed with people looking and just plain shopping for stuff.. Weiming wanted to buy a laptop bad and a mp3 player... so decided to go take a look.. we found the player which we wanted but it is not launched yet.. sighz... the gal promoting the player was attractive though.. went to to talk to her about the player.. haha... basically it is the Creative Zen microphoto.. something similiar to the iphoto from Apple.. so i think i will be buying that since my sis is bringing my mp3 player to overseas... afterwards he was going to his fren's bdae party.. i called victor to meet up.. he said ok bu then he msg mi and told me that he meeting his BMT frenz for movies.. sighz... so i called Hanchong he also said ok then he changes his mind going to meet his galfren... Then Chion teen called me asking where am i? so i said i meet you for dinner at town lor.. he also says ok.. who knows he tld me he going to his fren's hse to watch soccer.. Bloody hell i'm already in town liao lor and super hungry.. in the end i have to eat my dinner alone and no where to go.. super sianz lor the feeling.. everybody on, say ok.. then all last min change here and there.. in the end i was there alone by myself.. the feeling is sucky!!! trust me.. so decided to go home liao.. cant stand it.. and here i am typing my fustrations on the keyboard...
