Monday went back to work as usual.. the usual problems creeped out again.. OA probs la.. this and that lah... but i was looking forward to going back to Stagmont for the 59/05 Cadet Mess Opening held without fail for every batch of SOCC cadets.. these are my understudies... or should i say understudy only.. coz only got 1 coming over to take over me.. hehe... have been pondering whether anot to go back coz the response from my batch was lukewarm so in the end decided why not go back take a look as well as to catch up with my old pals.. hehe... called tingyi to link up with our dearest guardsman, jit so we can go over together... i managed to get a car so i drove to pick the 2 of them before going over to Hendon to pick Melvyn and Jit was pestering us to go Changi V for nasi lemak.. no choice the guardsman demanded it so have to give in.. haha..
In the end reach there and Jit managed to ease his craving for Changi V nasi lemak... Finally made our way to Stagmont for the Mess opening.. I was telling ah Tan that they should left a nominal roll at the guardhouse so that when we come over no need to change pass just tel the Guard that we are here for the Mess opening and tick our names accordingly on the nominal roll.. No need to change pass so troublesome.. In the end kana scolding from him.. haha... I took it easy la.. hehe.. maybe i demanded too much.. hehe...
Went up to my Mess where we had endless workload there doing our charts and talc sheets for presentations and exercises.. we could spend hours in there doing our preparation for exercises and presentations.. There's fun part to that also.. its a place where we consumed our instant noodles and watch tv shows like 'Singapore Idol', 'The challenger(Fiona Xie was running in bikini), 'Yi tian tu long ji' so many shows we were so crazy about it.. Sometimes when we cant sleep we will go over to the bar counter and a sip of our Baileys or malibu... haha.. Jit's fav i must say.. alot of memories.. not forgetting we surf the web there play Heros3 there everyday.. 1 computer was reserved for games.. Cpt Shane was addicted to 'Generals' also.. haha.. Time files.. this is the second batch of cadets' mess opening we are attending which means that we are leaving soon.. they are our understudies.. Yeah!!
To our disappointment, the whole affair was quite dull actually.. not exciting at all.. haha... so we left around 9++ decided to go over to Mac to grab a bite as well as to catch up with my old pals... It was there i realised i was issued a summon for parking at Changi V earlier on.. haiz!!! suay ah!! 30 bucks leh... At Mac, we ate talk about our life right now.. some of us complaining... and talking about our impending arrival of our understudies.. hehe.. Good luck to them!! especially for my post.. considering the amount of workload he is going to have.. more than mine definitely.. After our chit-chat session which ended around 11++ i send Mel home.. it was just besides Desker Rd only.. haha.. followed by ting yi.. and finally Jit... before i made my home too..
Today nothing much when to HP customer service centre to collect back my Boss's laptop.. everything was fine.. went back camp to do my own stuff and looking forward to the weekend once again.. haha...

I was going through some old photos when i was in OCS when i saw this.. haha.. eating durians while having range for SAR21.. hehe... i was the Cadet Wing Sgt Major(CWSM).. aka saikang warrior.. because i'm practically in charge of all the stores and the loading up and cleaning up the whole place.. Regimental duties i must plan and that includes extra duties also.. alot of things to do.. basically selpt around 11++ everynight.. when i'm back in my room.. my buddy was already soundly asleep.. haha.. good for him.. it was a good experience i must say.. widen my social skills.. got to know a lot of people in my wing.. 
This pic was taken when we were having our section fieldcamp.. got the 'garang' feeling ahha.. that's my section.. great pals to be with.. brings back alot of memories... sometimes you dread being a cadet and wished that you comissioned asap.. but thinking back cadet days were great... everyday just 'chiong and chiong' afterwards time to relax.. carry out some 'operations' haha.. or eating our noodles at the kitchnette talking cock.. or secretly watching Euro2004 in our rooms.. ahha.. it was a great experience.. something i will not forget..Weekends over.. Took 2 days MC so manage to rest at home and settle some personal stuff also.. This weekend ended pretty fast though.. Why is it that when you are enjoying something it always tends to finish faster than what you expects.. Saturday went drinking with Hanchong and Victor at Double O club.. I was wearing shorts that day so thought that I could make my way in since i have tried that before but apparantly it was a weekend so the rules were strict but i still saw another guy went in wearing berms so i was thinking double standards again.. haiz.. no wonder they are called Double O.. haha.. sorry for the 'cold' joke.. hehe.. no choice thinking of going back home to rest and sleep but Hanchong thought of asking Elvin to drive down and pass me his pants and we see how if he dont agrees then we go home lor.. so we tried calling him and to my surprise he agreed.. haha.. Thanks a million Elvin.. managed to went in and we had a few drinks.. simply chilling out at the bar there.. didnt feel like going down to the dance floor though.. the drinks were cheap so decided to go there... haha.. after that share a cab with Hanchong before tucking into bed around 4am...
Before we went drinking, i was with Shaoqiang as well.. we met up for dinner with Victor also.. simple dinner la at foodcourt.. haha.. no $$.. suddenly Hanchong called me asking me whetehr i'm at cineleisure coz her girlfren left a pullover there yesterday.. so i went to Phin's steakhouse and check with the management people over there regarding this.. so in the end i got the pullover so went over to his girlfren's workplace which is quite near and pass it to her.. afterwards went some window shopping and that's it.. we stopped over at Shaw's Mac's and decided to squat there for time being.. haiz.. no life leh.. but what to do.. hehe... That's how my Saturday went.. found out about my course from Shaoqiang also.. some insights into my business course at NTU next year..
Today is Sunday so supposed to be Family Day la.. haha.. so did not went out stay at home rest sleep and just relax myself watching tv and eating as well.. haha.. slept til 2pm today.. woke up lunch was in the process.. hehe.. so after lunch read the papers and after some programmes and logging on.. decided to take a short nap before dinner time.. hehe..
1 week has passed.. in a flesh.. tomorrow going back to work.. revitalised i should say.. haha.. does that means more work impending for me?? haha.. i dunno about that... watch this space..

Here it goes again.. yesterday was a fine day is hould say... went ktv with alex, ruifang, chee wah and bert.. his galfren came along as well.. saw her for e 1st time i must say.. pleasant looking gal though.. we sang til our throats turn sore.. haha.. great gathering.. aft that went for supper.. almost quarrel with the kopi tiam uncle.. lousy attitude and service.. i think must show him a video of our PM's National Day Rally speech about improving our country's service.. if the food is nice i dun mind.. end of the day his food sucks to the core.. haiz.. waste tiem n $$..
1 thing i dread is applying my eye drops every hour... haiz.. so troublesome.. but what to do.. have to get it done and make sure my eyes recover.. they are really very important to me.. Today is saturday!! yeah weekend is here again finally.. soon we are entering into September then October when my projected shopping trip to taiwan is going to happen soon.. haha.. cant wait for that.. a time to elave my office and no one is going to bother me.. hehe.. before that i must settle the computer migration thing.. hopefully everythin turns out well...
Thursday and Friday on mc.. so good time to rest also.. Next week back to work and lots of stuff coming my way again.. I was thinking about after my projected holidays.. It will be end Oct before i know it.. its going to be Nov and Christmas time.. wooo... its getting sooner than expected.. But i'm not complaining at all.. wahahha... cheers~
Finally went for my eye check today at the National Eye Centre.. but i was late as usual.. supposed to be 9am for appointment i woke up late so no choice call up to postpone to 10am.. but the taxi driver thought i was going to skin centre so wrong way... haiz.. in tje end reach the place around 1030am liao.. went up register and waited before some tests... the place filled up with senior citizens and some middle-aged people so i was thinking i'm like out of place.. but what to do.. my eyes very important to me.. so have to see whats wrong with them..
Went in and the Doctor was quite fierce, i think because today too many patients and its close to lunch time and she still has alot patients so in a bad mood.. She was asking what kind of eye drops did my GP prescribe for me so i said i did not bring along.. nobody does that mah.. then she says this is not something that can be taught in sch la.. says that common sense should know that i should bring along so that she can see what it is.. but seriously i do not know about this at all.. alot of meanings in her words.. saying i lack common sense.. anyway she says my eyes could be allegic to my contact lens or the solutions and it is rejecting them and some bumps at the underlid of my eyes.. so she says no more contact lens.. if it heals, i may change to dailies so less hassle on the cleaning part.. but she says right now is a NONO.. so every hour i must apply some drops to my eyes...
I have to go back for a review in 2 weeks time.. haiz.. waste $$ again liao.. this consultation costs me 65 bucks.. the medicine.. it was 79 bucks worth of eye drops solutions.. Incredible!!! but i did not pay a single cent.. they saw my Smart card and says it will deduct from the medical fund or something like that..so every hour must put eye drops.. everyday 3 times must apply another kind of eye drops.. so everyday 4 times i will be applying 3 different types of eye drops... plus before i go to bed i must apply eye gel.. haiz.. see its lesson for the others to take care of your eyes.. they are very important assets to you..
Anyway saw Arsenal game last night.. it was Fantanstic.. finally they found their flow and style of play.. thats the typical Arsenal i used to see week in week out.. Tomorrow supposed to go for run.. luckily got MC for 2 days.. can rest at home.. do some work also.. Saw the channel U's superstars yesterday.. haha.. the male n female contestants were there.. i did not watch the show every week so some of them i also dunno who.. but the Kelvin and Kelly were not there.. haha.. so it was a pity.. shall stop here for now.. need to go apply eye drops again.. haiz.. just wish that my myopia isnt that high at all..
Had a soccer game this afternoon.. Great!! its been while i played with such a relax mode.. It really does take my mind off from what i have been doing lately and what's troubling me these few days.. Glad i had this game.. Bought a new pair Asics running shoes this afternoon also.. The salesman came down to promote so after that decided its time to invest in 1 pair.. Next time doing my own running i also can wear... hehe.. costs 102 bucks.. alright la.. nice colour also.. must go for something which will help you in running at the same time must look good also.. so maybe can even wear it out.. Seriously, if you r good any shoes also can la.. Like 'Home Run' that movie, that kid didnt even wear shoes lor.. haha.. I think out of point here.. Bottomline is just do your Best!!

To my horror, they lost.. haiz.. they realli lack creativity in the last third of the half.. nobody making intelligent runs into the box.. Henry was poor for the 2nd game in succession.. I guess the captaincy has affected him and limit his runs and performance.. He's the main source of goals coming for arsenal if he stop scoring.. That's it.. Arsenal will not even smell 2nd place this season.. I say take the captaincy away from him and pass it to someone else.. For the sake of the Gooners!! Its the last season at Highbury lets win something before we depart for Ashburton Grove!!
Monday is not a day for working. someone somebody out there should declare Monday as a non-working day.. Monday Blues is evident everywhere.. realli dun feel like going back.. too much things to handle and to settle.. because of what happen last week, now i got myself in the middle of a big mess.. but i got no time to clear this up because other thigns are waitin for me to clear them. Luckily Wee Kiat called me that day asking me whether we should have a shopping trip to Taiwan/Hong Kong.. I cant wait for that to ahppen.. it better..

Thursdae wanted to go for my medical appointment at Eye Centre but because i need to go back to unit to re-configure something PDAs so no choice i have to go back.. Can i depend on my small team when i'm away.. i think the ans is no.. haiz.. went back did the configurations then to my horror i realised that something was missing from my store.. What the thing is i shall not divulge here.. haiz.. did some search but to no avail.. finally told my Boss about it.. he isnt angry the thing is missing but angry that my team did not know how many supposed to be there in the 1st place.. haiz.. no choice have to do up investigation report n interviews n recording of statements.. so many things to do.. haiz.. and this is under my charge!! y?? y?? it was a long day for me..
Friday finally i think can go my check up on my eyes.. waiting in the quene when my phone rang, Big Boss wants a report by Monday so wat to do.. i have to conduct my interviews n do up a prelim report by today or over the weekend be4 submitting to him on Monday.. I have to leave now.. it was almost my turn... but work comes 1st be4 my eyes' condition (stupid thinkin i guess) went back done up the interviews and statements.. finally can go back n rest.. Later in the evening i jio Raymond and Hanchong out for chill becoz too stress liao.. so many things happening.. 3 days off becomes 1 day off when will there be a day my phone will not ring due to my unit..
Today, jus came back from my DO duty yesterday.. sianz.. wasted a day in camp.. ok la not bad did my report and edited my mins for the upcoming meeting.. Basically jus slept thru' the day... haha.. quite tired now.. but i going for my soccer session soon.. yeah!! later in the evenin going for dinner with family.. Celebrates mum's bdae which is tml.. then finally Arsenal vs Chelsea to round off my day before heading to my workplace again tml morning knowing alot of things yet to be done .. haiz.. it sucks.. Wee kiat asking me Oct going to Taiwan or hong Kong for shopping trip.. Great!! going to take 2 weeks overseas leave liao.. cannot take it anymore..

Todae went to see doc regarding my eyes.. getting worse i think.. He referred me to an eye doctor in National Eye Centre.. haiz.. looks serious to me.. anyway going back camp later.. seems like alot of things waiting for me to settle.. haiz.. on MC for 2 daes at least tml mornin out camp run can escape.. haha.. yeah!! aftnoon going to the eye centre to take a look.. better do it fast before i turn blind!!

Friday went for the Timor-Barat run.. its the worst run i have in many yrs to come.. 15km.. i almost died.. haha.. basically run out from seletar camp to seletar airport.. onto some island called Pulau Puggol Barat smt like that.. run on the island then take a assualt boat back to seletar camp then run again.. it seems like nver ending.. run like neber run be4 in my life.. finally completed the race.. came in 33rd in the competitive portion.. like shit leh.. timing i think is 1 hr 15 mins like that.. sibei jialat.. anyway my unit came in 3rd overall.. so it was a pleasant surprise.. haha..
Today finally clearing my off.. nxt 3 daes rotting at home n resting.. i think i deserved this break.. realli.. its high time since i can relax at home.. i think that was aft i took my A's be4 i enlist.. well.. these few daes been thinkin smt.. not everythin u wish for will happen.. haiz.. in my mind i dunno how to control this.. but i need to.. the greatest irony is u knoe u shld let go but u didnt but when u let go u think back actually u shld not.. haiz.. confused... should i do smt that is beneficial to me but it wil hurt alot of ppl.. or shld i jus let go and carry on with life.. i know better things will come alog the way.. maybe i shld take up the latter.. its not my principle to destroy smt for my own happiness.. so i guess the ans is obvious..
